Accessibility Statement

Tai Chi and Qigong are for every body. We work to keep both the classes and this website usable by as many people as possible.

In class

  • +Every movement has a seated variation — practicing from a chair is a full practice, not a lesser one.
  • +Cues are spoken aloud as well as demonstrated, so you can follow by ear.
  • +You are welcome to keep your camera off if that makes the class comfortable for you.
  • +Pace is deliberately slow, with rest encouraged at any point.

On this website

We aim to meet the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines as a target. That means readable text sizes and contrast, descriptive alternative text on images, keyboard-navigable menus and forms, and semantic page structure. This is an ongoing effort rather than a certification.

Requesting an accommodation

If you need a modification, a specific accommodation, or the class information in another format, email mtchikwenhere@gmail.com before booking and we will arrange it wherever we can.

Reporting a barrier

If any part of this site or a class is difficult to use, please tell us what you ran into and what device or assistive technology you were using. We treat accessibility reports as a priority and will respond within 5 business days.
